Yellow Dal

Recipe of Yellow Dal by Jaishree & Vibhuti

Ingredients

  • Tuvar Dal 1/2 handful
  • Moong Dal 1/2 handful
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Green Chilli

Steps

  1. Pressure cook both the dals together with salt and haldi - 2 whistles, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Fry in ghee or butter onion, garlic and green chilli.
  3. Add salt, haldi, chilli powder.
  4. Add cooked dal.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves.
