Green plantain- you will find it in the produce area where the bananas are stocked.
Cooking Oil

Steps
Peel green plantain
Cut into 1” chunks
Fry until slightly golden- make sure to turn while frying
Remove from fryer and smash plantain to flatten it.
Throw back into fryer for about 3 to 5 minutes while turning. You decide how crispy you want them!
Remove from fryer and salt, just like if they were fries!
