Stuffed Green Peppers

A non meat version of a stuffed green pepper

Ingredients

  • 5 onions
  • 1tbsp salt
  • 1/2 bunch of finely chopped parley
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1-2 cans tomato sauce
  • 8-9 green peppers

Steps

  1. Chop onions in a bowl
  2. Add salt, parsley oil and tomato sauce
  3. Add rice and add water until ingredients are loose and floating
  4. Cut tops off of green peppers and fill them 2/3rds of the way up with rice mixture
  5. Put tops back on
  6. Bake at 350 for 2 hours, turning them over after 1 hour
