Simple Vegetable Kootu

Ingredients

  • Moong Dal - 1/2 cup
  • Vegetable like Carrot, Cabbage, Beans, Peas, Zuccini, Cucumber
  • Tomato - 1
  • Green Chilly - 1
  • Mustard -  1 teaspoon
  • Heeng
  • Karipata
  • Dhania Pata
  • Ghee

Steps

  1. Chop all the veggies and tomato into cubes.
  2. Cut green chilli into two.
  3. Wash Moong Dal.
  4. Add all chopped veggies to the moong dal (veggies, tomato, green chilli and curry pata)
  5. Add salt, haldi.
  6. Cook in instant cooker till done
  7. Add a tadka of ghee, mustard, heeng.
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves.
