Queen Bee the Pheasant

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked pheasant meat shredded
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 4 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 cup custard
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps

  1. • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C.)
  2. In a large skillet heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown and caramelized.
  3. • In a mixing bowl combine the cooked pheasant, caramel sauce, mini marshmallows and hot sauce.
  4. • Add the caramelized onions to the mixing bowl and toss to combine.
  5. Spoon the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  6. Pour the custard over the top of the pheasant mixture, making sure to cover it completely.
  7. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the custard is set and lightly golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
