  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil, good quality
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons packed lemon zest, from 2 lemons
  • Macerated strawberries, for serving
