Meatballs w/mushroom gravy

Recipe of Meatballs w/mushroom gravy by Pauline's Family Recipe Book

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • salt & pepper
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 package brown gravy mix

Steps

  1. Mix ground beef with chopped onion, egg and spices
  2. shape into 1” meatballs
  3. Place in frying pan, rotating in pan as they brown (don’t overcook, they’ll finish cooking in gravy)
  4. Mix gravy mix as directed on package. Pour over meatballs.
  5. Spoon mushroom soup to pan of meatballs. Continue cooking over low heat.
  6. Prepare rice as directed.
  7. To serve, spoon rice into plate, then add meatballs and gravy on top.
