Recipe of Marise's rusks by sulcaseats

Ingredients

  • 1 kg self raising flour
  • 3 cup pecan nut flour heaped
  • 1 cup combined raisins and linseed
  • 3t baking powder
  • salt
  • 500 ml buttermilk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 250 g butter
  • 3 eggs

Steps

  1. melt butter then add sugar and buttermilk
  2. add eggs
  3. mix dry ingredients
  4. combine wet and dry then knead a bit
  5. put in a greased pan
  6. bake for hour at 180 degrees C, turn out of pan and break apart
  7. dry for 3 hours at 100 degrees C
