Ingredients
1/4 bushel fresh tomatoes (11 lbs)
2 C white distilled vinegar
1 1/2 C sugar
2 1/2 Tbs. salt
1 Tbs. onion powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp ground cloves
Steps
Juice and strain tomatoes
Put into large stockpot, add all ingredients.
Cook on medium heat for 3 hours or until desired thickness.
Sterilize jars and lids
Fill jars, leaving 1/2 inch headspace
Seal and process in hot water bath for 15 minutes.
Remove from pot and allow to seal. Check seals after 12 hours.
