Dry-Rubbed Baked Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • Baking sheet lined with aluminum foil
  • Baking Rack/Cooling Rack that fits inside your baking sheet
  • Uncooked/Unseasoned Chicken Wings (32 wings)
  • Seasoning Salt OR Season-it-All
  • Chicken/Turkey Seasoning
  • Chili Pepper
  • Paprika
  • Dried Oregano
  • Garlic Powder
  • Ground Cayenne Pepper
  • Frank's RedHot Sauce

Steps

  1. Preheat Oven to 425 Fahrenheit
  2. Defrost and clean your chicken- remove any excess fat
  3. Pat the chicken dry and toss in a bowl
  4. **You can mix dry ingredients in a bowl OR place directly on chicken (I prefer straight on the chicken)**
  5. 1. Seasoning Salt (10-12 shakes) 2.Chicken/Turkey Seasoning(6-8 shakes) 3. Chili Pepper (3-5 shakes) 4. Paprika (3-5 shakes) 5. Dried Oregano (1-3 shakes) 6. Garlic Powder (1-3 shakes) 7. Cayenne Pepper (7-8 shakes)
  6. Shake/Mix chicken with seasoning
  7. 7-10 shakes of Franks RedHot Suace
  8. After shaking add more: Chicken/Turkey Seasoning (not too much or it will taste salty) **if you want "super spicy" add more Cayenne Pepper**
  9. Shake/Mix chicken again and let sit for 15 min
  10. Place wings on baking/cooling rack
  11. Baked uncovered for 22 minuets and flip
  12. Bake uncovered for another 20 minuets and turn off oven
  13. Leave in oven for 5-10 minuets (depends how crispy you want it)
  14. Take out of oven and let cool
