Apple and Tart Cherry Crumble

Fruit filling
6 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced thin
3/4 c. dried tart cherries
1/2 c. golden raisins
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
1/4 c. white sugar
1 c. dark brown sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice

1 c. flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
2 egg whites
Margarine
Steps
In large bowl, combine apples, cherries, raisins, walnuts, white sugar, and 1/4 c. brown sugar.
Sprinkle with lemon juice and mix.
Spray 7x11" baking dish with cooking spray.
Pour apple-cherry mixture into dish. Set aside.
Mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
Blend in remaining 3/4 c. brown sugar and egg whites into flour mixture.
Sprinkle with margarine.
Bake at 350° for 35–40 minutes until top is golden brown and apples are tender.
Serve warm or cold.
