almond date breakfast bars

Ingredients

  • 10-15 (ish) dates, soaked in hot water then blended
  • 1/2 cup brown butter
  • 1/2 cup (ish) almond butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup (ish) flax seeds
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom
  • salt to taste

Steps

  1. preheat oven to 350
  2. brown the butter, then combine with the blended dates and almond butter
  3. whisk eggs, then whisk in the butter/date/almond mixture, then add vanilla
  4. fold in dry ingredients
  5. bake for 20-30 mins
